Does my son or daughter stay over the week of camp by themselves?
No, our camps are day camps. Hours are from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Some mornings your child's group may start on-ice, other mornings your child's group will began with their off-ice session. Be sure to follow camp schedule and leave enough time to dress/prepare.
How much ice time does my son or daughter get each day?
Students at camp receive three hours of ice time each day. There will be no "messing around" when it comes to on-ice.On-ice drills promote continuous movement, and EVERYTHING is hockey specific. Your son or daughter will be challenged mentally and physically while they are learning important tools needed to move on to the next level.
Does my child have to bring a lunch?
Lunch is included at all of our camps. One meal a day (lunch with a drink) will be provided. There may be anything from sub sandwiches, to pasta, to sloppy joes, with either a garden or fruit salad, treat bar and Gatorade. If you have a picky eater on your hands, please feel free to pack a lunch or extra snacks.
What should my daughter and/or son bring to camp?
Please prepare them with complete hockey gear, an old hockey stick/street hockey stick for off-ice activities, sun block, cross trainers, water bottle and/or concession money for drinks if you so choose, and please keep in mind that your child will need a change of clothes for the off-ice sessions. Be aware of the weather each day of camp so they may be dressed appropriately for outdoor exercise.
Why should we choose your camp versus another camp?
There are numerous reasons that Branham Hockey Camps are the right camps for you. For starters, our instructors have played, and currently still do play, at a very high level of hockey. They know what it takes to be a player at a high level and understand how to translate this knowledge to younger players. Camp attendees get tenacious, passionate instructors who provide a very hockey specific camp.
Also, players are guaranteed an excellent on-ice student/instructor ratio. All of these reasons, coupled with a very competitive price, make Branham Hockey Camps a great value for you and your child.
